A blend from the king of independent Japanese distillers, Ichiro Akuto. In addition to whisky from his own Chichibu distillery, it also includes whiskies from America, Canada, Scotland and Ireland. As it says on the label – 'This is worldwide blended whisky'.

Distillery info
Chichibu distillery is located in Chichibu, a town in Saitama prefecture. It was founded by Ichiro Akuto in 2004 and production started in 2008.
Akuto’s family had a long tradition in spirits production and sake brewing. It was his grandfather that first turned his attention to whisky distillation in 1945 and his father continued by running the Hanuy distillery.
The distillery was finally sold and closed, but 400 casks remained under Akuto’s possession and in 2004 he formed Venture Whisky Ltd. The Chichibu distillery started operating and the first release was the legendary “Card” Series.
Several Cask types are used for whisky maturation in order for the distillery to explore different flavor aspects.
