Sinatra Select is a limited edition expression of Jack Daniels distillery, named after one of Jack's biggest fans: Frank Sinatra. The "Sinatra" barrels that are used for this bottling, are specially crafted as deep grooves are curved in order for the liquid to meet extra layers of the Oak.

The exact date of his birth is still a mystery and Jack would learn the art of distilling next to Reverend Dan Call and Nathan “Nearest” Green, an enslaved man who would later become the head distiller in Jack Daniel’s distillery.

After his death in 1911, two brothers, Jess and Lem Motlow took control in difficult times to come, as the distillery was forced to halt production twice: During Prohibition and during World War II.

Jack Daniel’s is mentioned as Tennessee whiskey and not as a bourbon although the same laws regarding the product apply as well.

The difference that makes Tennessee whiskey a little bit more special is an extra process in production which is called “The Lincoln County Process”

This process means that the whole production after distillation and before maturation will be filtered through wood coal made from maple. This process is said to give the final product a more delicate flavor.

Since 1956 Brown Forman are the current owners.
