Distillery info
Kilchoman distillery is located in the Isle of Islay, close to Machir Bay. It was founded in 2005 by Anthony Wills.
Kilchoman distillery is the first new distillery built in the Isle of Islay after 124 years.
Anthony was already in the whisky industry as an independent bottler, but in 2002 he came up with the idea of founding his own distillery.
The distillery remains a family run business and in 2015 the purchase of the Rockside Farm signaled the expansion of the site.
